At BPPIMT, training runs throughout the degree rather than being squeezed into the weeks before placement season. From the first year, students attend regular sessions on aptitude and reasoning, technical subjects and domain-specific skills. The aim is simple: by the time a recruiter visits campus, students have already worked through the kinds of tests and tasks they will face in a real selection process.
Quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and verbal ability. These form the written test component in most corporate hiring processes.
Core programming concepts and problem-solving through code. Particularly useful for BCA students targeting technical roles.
Object-oriented programming and Java application development, aligned with what IT companies test for at the entry level.
SEO, social media, content and performance marketing. Practical skills for BBA students going into sales, marketing and business roles.
Reading data, identifying trends and drawing business conclusions. Relevant across both management and technology job profiles.
Additional topics added each year based on recruiter feedback and what companies are actually testing for during hiring.
Students are assessed at the start of each year to identify gaps in aptitude, technical knowledge and domain understanding. Training groups are formed on the basis of these results.
Regular sessions run throughout the semester, delivered by faculty and external trainers. Each session covers both concepts and applied practice in the subject area.
Students sit timed aptitude tests and technical assessments in formats that match actual corporate selection rounds. Results are reviewed with individual feedback.
By the final year, students are prepared for multi-round corporate selection. The training feeds directly into the pre-placement preparation run by the Placement Cell.
