Candidates applying for the BBA, BCA and BBA (Business Analytics) undergraduate programmes must have passed or appeared in the Higher Secondary examination under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent board. Both the general and vocational streams are accepted.
For BBA (Business Analytics), students with a background in Mathematics or Statistics at the Higher Secondary level will find the curriculum well suited to their preparation, though it is not a mandatory requirement for eligibility.

A valid rank card from the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT, WB) is mandatory for admission to all three programmes — BBA, BCA and BBA (Business Analytics). Students must appear in the CET and obtain a rank card before applying for admission.
The CET is an all-India entrance examination jointly administered by MAKAUT, WB and its affiliated institutions. The CET Board, constituted by MAKAUT, WB, is the sole authority responsible for conducting the examination and declaring results. The test covers undergraduate and postgraduate professional programmes offered by MAKAUT, WB and its affiliated colleges across the country.
