Grooming & Personality Development

Getting through a written test is one thing. Performing well in a group discussion or a face-to-face interview is another. BPPIMT runs a structured grooming programme to address the second half of what recruiters look for: how students communicate, how they present themselves, and how they handle themselves under pressure.

Sessions are delivered by a combination of faculty and professional trainers. This gives students both an academic grounding and the practical, real-world perspective that purely in-house training cannot always provide.

Areas Covered
Communication Skills

Spoken and written English, structured expression and the ability to present ideas clearly in a professional setting.

Personality Development

Building self-awareness and confidence. Students work on how they come across in interviews and in day-to-day professional interactions.

Professional Etiquette

Workplace conduct, business communication norms, email writing and the unwritten rules of corporate environments that many fresh graduates are not prepared for.

Group Discussion Practice

Structured GD sessions where students practise putting forward views, listening actively and contributing without dominating the conversation.

Interview Preparation

Mock HR and technical interviews with feedback on body language, response structure and how to handle the questions students typically find most difficult.

Behavioural & Leadership Skills

Managing stress, working in teams, handling conflict and developing the kind of presence that organisations look for in people they want to grow internally.

How the Programme Works
1
Baseline Evaluation

At the start of the programme, students are observed through group activities and one-on-one interactions to identify which areas need the most attention.

2
Regular In-House Sessions

Scheduled sessions run throughout the year covering each area of the grooming curriculum. Being held on campus keeps participation consistent.

3
Mock GDs and Interviews

Students go through simulated group discussions and interview rounds. Trainers give structured feedback on both what is said and how it is delivered.

4
Placement Ready

By the time students enter the placement season, they have had enough practice to walk into a GD or interview without it being their first time doing anything that resembles the real thing.
